ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Liza! A photographer with roots as unique as the stories I capture.

I am Russian/Ukranian born and moved around lot growing up. My family ended up on a small, sun-soaked island in the Florida Keys called Islamorada, where i spent most of my young adult years! In Islamorada life moved with the tides and every sunset felt like magic. That upbringing gave me a deep love for natural beauty, quiet moments, and the raw, unfiltered emotions that I now strive to capture through my lens.

Today, I’m proudly serving as active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, currently stationed in the Virginia Beach area. Balancing military life and photography has taught me the value of presence, patience, and paying attention to the small things — the look, the light, the split-second laugh that makes a photo unforgettable.

Photography has always been more than a creative outlet for me — it’s how I stay true to myself, connect with others, and how I preserve meaning in moments both big and small. Whether I’m shooting portraits, couples, or candid lifestyle sessions, my goal is always the same: to make you feel seen, celebrated, and authentically you.
